This class is designed for both absolute beginners who have never touched a sewing machine and beginner-intermediate sewers looking to refine their techniques and elevate the quality of their finished garments.

Time: 6pm-8pm
Location: 263 Columbia Street, Vancouver (Gastown)

Dates: Every Tuesday for 8 weeks (March 18, March 25, April 1, April 8, April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6)

What to Bring to your First Class:

  • 0.75 metres of fabric for your zero waste tote bag. Cotton, cotton blends, light denim, or canvas fabric is recommend. Midweight woven fabric is recommended.

  • Thread to match your fabric (any general, all purpose Polyester thread will suffice)

*Please note, all tools and sewing machines are provided.

*Look for a welcome email within two weeks of the course start date.

*If you aren’t able to make one of the dates, we include one make up class with your course.

Projects to Choose From

  • Pants, shorts, tops, totes, and basic outerwear.

  • Men’s, Women’s and Youth sizes available.

Notes

  • Fabric and trims are purchased separately.

  • This class is best suited for woven fabrics (or fabric without any stretch).

  • We will provide the pattern collection during the first class.
